Emma Lothian

- Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Emma developed a passion for Exercise Physiology whilst completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement). She then went on to complete her Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University. Emma has had experience working in private practice, hospitals and community settings. Emma currently spends her working week here at FiT. as well as being an Allied Health Educator at Exercise Research Australia.

She has had experience working with a range of conditions such as diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome, chronic pain, musculoskeletal injuries and cardiovascular disease. Emma is particularly interested in working with clients and implementing lifestyle and behaviour change to manage diabetes, weight and other metabolic conditions.

Emma also enjoys helping people reach goals, increase their strength and improve their activities of daily living through exercise. Emma loves working 1:1 and in group environments. She enjoys developing trusting relationships with clients and providing them with education and tools to reach their goals. Strength, support and motivation is key to a healthier lifestyle.

Adrienne Bratchford

- Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Adrienne is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who joined the FiT. team in 2016. Adrienne completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) and then went on to complete her Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University. She has had experience working in private practice, GP clinics, aged care, community settings, and sporting clubs. To complement her current position at FiT, Adrienne also practices as an AEP privately in Malvern and and as an Allied Health Educator at Exercise Research Australia.

Adrienne has had experience working with a diverse range of conditions including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, mental health, respiratory, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She has particular interest in women’s health, weight management, metabolic conditions, and developing and implementing group exercise programs.

Adrienne is passionate about her job as an Exercise Physiologist, and she is also excited about sharing her knowledge to students in an Educator role. She has great enthusiasm for swimming, hiking and the great outdoors!
